Scott Massey
Scott Massey is the Support Manager and a Project Manager at Promet. He has been involved in IT since 1999, when the multi-channel retailer he worked for drafted him from the finance department to help manage their ERP system and burgeoning website. Consequently, Scott became involved in all facets of technology for this company and others. This helped him to gain a wide range of skills and insight into helping businesses use technology efficiently.
Most recently, Scott was the Service Manager for an IT Managed Services Provider in Chicago. Here he coordinated support for clients throughout the United States and implemented a service automation application to insure prompt, complete, and proactive resolution of IT issues.
Scott became interested in Drupal while working on several web projects which required stable yet extensible solutions. He enjoys the spirit of Open Source Software and is excited about being a part of the Community. When not obsessing over some new technology, Scott practices his Japanese, runs along Lake Michigan, travels with his wife, and meditates. He has a BS in Information and Decision Sciences from University of Illinois in Chicago.
