Michael Ocana is a Senior Drupal Developer with experience as a senior Symfony Framework developer for one of Singapore’s major media websites. His skill set also includes Ruby development experience for a healthcare application based in the European Union.

Some of Michael's favorite projects from the past include a GIS mapping application embedded with non-spatial data and media that allows users to search and explore the coastal regions of the Philippines. Michael also contributed code to Tracking NEMO, a Microsoft product platform that monitors the marine aquarium trading system for the Philippines.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science and participated in his school’s first intercollegiate programming contest, leading his school and team to first place.

His hometown of Cebu in the Philippines offers Michael many exciting diversions in street scenes and natural landscapes, which Michael captures while honing his photography skills.
